After twelve years in the healthcare industry as a pediatric intensive care nurse, I left with one goal in mind - go fishing. I have fished from BROAD RIVER in South Carolina to ST. CATHERINES ISLAND on the Georgia coast for 20 years. Making a living on these waters is what I decided to do. I have my captains license, and I am insured for charters. I can legally take up to 6 people on my boat. I will do my best to give you a good day on the water, whether we're catching fish, or touring the islands.
FISHING RESUME
I grew up in Maine, fishing for trout, salmon and small mouth bass with both spin and fly rods. I flyfished for the Atlantic Salmon on the rivers of Downeast Maine, and also in the Canadian provinces. I also fished along the Maine coast in a 20foot Mako for BLUEFISH, COD, STRIPERS and MACKERAL. When I moved to the south in 1981, I brought my passion for fishing with me, and I have fished these locals waters with conventional tackle and a flyrod since then.
